PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrant apparatus which is easily held and operated by an operator even when the range of a fire-fighting nozzle is extended. SOLUTION: The hydrant apparatus 1 includes, in a casing 2, a hydrant valve 5 connected with a water supply tube 4 from a supply source 3 of a fire-fighting liquid, a fire-fighting hose 6 provided on the secondary side of the valve 5, and the fire-fighting nozzle 7 provided on the distal end side of the hose 6. The secondary-side flow passage of the valve 5 is provided with a discharge pressure stepwise control means 10 which raises discharge pressure from the nozzle 7 according to the lapse of time from opening of the valve.
