<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PLC system, capable of ensuring safety without needing an operator's contact with a site by use of a telephone or transceiver by rejecting online connection by a PLC when there is a problem in the online connection. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the PLC system in which a support tool can issue various commands to a PCL after online connected with the PCL, the PCL includes an online connection propriety determination means which determines the propriety of online connection according to receipt of an online connection request from the support tool; an online connection execution means which reports, when the online connection propriety determination means determines that the connection is possible, that effect to the support tool and executes connection processing; and an online connection execution rejection means which reports, when the online connection propriety determination means determines that the connection is impossible, that effect to the support tool and rejects the execution of the connection.
