<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair copy control information even if a failure occurs in recording a program onto an information recording device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiving, recording, and reproducing device includes a receiving means which receives a broadcast signal of the program set for recording, a processing means which converts the broadcast signal received by the receiving means to the program data of digital video and sound, a recoding means which records copy control information obtained from the broadcast signal received by the receiving means, a recording control means which encrypts and records the program data converted by the processing means on a specified recording device, and a memory control means which encrypts the copy control information recorded in the recording means and records it in the specified recording device, and deletes the copy control information recorded in the recording means after recording on the specified recording device.
