<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing a state transition table, can reduce labors and times required for finding other cells of high risk affected by changing cells, when changing one part of cells in the state transition table. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method of processing the state transition table calculates a similarity of a predetermined cell selected from the state transition table described with at least one out of processing when an event is occurs and a state of a transited side, to each cell other than the predetermined cell, in the cells of expressing a state in either of a line and a column, of expressing the event in the other, and crossed with the line and the column, under the state (S5). The high similarity cell having similarity higher than a reference value is detected out of the similarity in each calculated cell.
