<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder capable of processing smoothly in such a form that the top edge part of chopsticks is slender without high degree of skill by a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The grinder is equipped with: a chopsticks transporting device 3 transporting a chopsticks material 9 from one end part of a machine supporter 10 fixed on the earth to the other end part thereof along with a horizontal direction; a chopsticks supplying device 4 set forth on one end part of the machine supporter; a chopsticks rotating device 5 rotating the chopsticks material which is set forth on the other side of the chopsticks supplying device; and a grinding means 6 grinding the rotating chopsticks material. The grinding means is equipped with a rotating disk 63 and a sandpaper 65 set forth on a bottom surface of the rotating disk, and one end of the chopsticks material is ground by the sandpaper 65 rotating with the rotating disk.
