<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device neatly delivering printed items or product laminates collected in advance, for post-processing, even at relatively high production efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A conveyer device takes over and transferring at least one printed item 6. The conveyor device includes: a feed transport device 2 successively transporting the printed items 6 into a takeover region A; and an intermediate transport device 3 rotated to transport the printed items 6 from the takeover region A to a transfer region B of the transport device 34. The intermediate transport device has a lot of transport elements 9 disposed along an endless track. The transport elements respectively grip the printed items 6, transport them from the takeover region A to the transfer region B, and transfer them to the transport device 34. At that time, at least in an area between the takeover region A and the transfer region B, the transport elements 9 can swivel around an axis 27 extending laterally with respect to a transport direction, under a controlled condition.
