The forming device has multiple spaced forming areas designed in different shapes for forming a section of a dental-implant salvation cap by one of the forming areas. The forming area is formed for casting the section. The forming areas are formed for forming sections of salvation caps according to different targeted gingival openings (5). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a set with a connecting unit for connecting the section of the salvation cap with an implant base body; and (2) a method for forming a section of a dental-implant salvation cap.
