<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus wherein the number of retransmission is reduced, and the power consumption is also reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus 100 implements at least one of transmission output controls as follows: (1) in the case where no ACK is received for a current frame, raising, based on a degradation of communication environment state, a transmission output level at a fallback control time; (2) in the case where a determined communication environment state is an interference, raising a transmission output level established in advance at a retransmission time, while reducing the number of retransmissions; (3) in the case of raising a transmission output level for a retransmission, issuing a request for raising the transmission output level of an ACK from an access point of a transmission destination; and (4) operating, based on a degradation of communication environment state, a reception switch (SW) 103 such that a received signal is supplied via a high-sensitivity mode amplifier 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
