<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium battery superior in productivity with high capacity and hardly deteriorated in performance accompanied with charge and discharge, while using a solid electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium battery 1 includes a positive electrode layer 13, a negative electrode layer 14, and a solid electrolyte layer (SE layer 15) of sulfide which intermediates conduction of lithium ion between these two layers. The battery 1 includes a buffer layer 16 which absorbs deviation of lithium ions in the vicinity of interface of these layers between the positive electrode layer 13 and the SE layer 15. Then, the average thickness of the positive electrode layer 13 is made 0.2-20 μm, and the average thickness of the buffer layer 16 is made 2-40 nm, and the average thickness of the negative electrode layer 14 is made 0.3-8 μm. Preferably, the average thickness of the positive electrode layer 13 is 0.8-1.5 μm, the average thickness of the buffer layer 16 is 4-8 nm, and the average thickness of the negative electrode layer 14 is 0.6-1.0 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
