METHOD OF EMBEDDING INFORMATION DATA INTO IMAGE USING LAYOUT OF PATTERN MATERIAL, METHOD OF TAKING OUT INFORMATION DATA, INFORMATION DATA EMBEDDING DEVICE, AND INFORMATION DATA TAKING-OUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for robustly embedding or taking out many pieces of information data into or from an image having patterns of various shapes laid out therein, without people's awareness, and also to provide an image processing system.

SOLUTION: When an image to be a pattern material is subjected to geometrical conversion and is laid out, a covering ratio in a mask area is intentionally operated to lay out and embed arbitrary information data, for example, a character string code of a URL after divided. In order to take out the embedded information data, a covering ratio of the pattern to the mask area is calculated from image data obtained by photographing a generated image, to detect corresponding information data, and entire embedded information data are decoded in accordance with the layout order of block areas and the like.
