<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible circuit board that is contrived so as to enable flexible mounting according to the shape of a housing and to significantly shorten the distance between mounting surfaces of components, when these components are mounted inside the housing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the multilayer flexible circuit board 10 is accommodated into the housing 100, it is not necessary to bend bending portions 22 and 23 into a U-shape; the upper surface of a component 33 is matched with the surface opposing the component mounting surfaces of component-mounting portions 12 and 14, and the bending portions 22 and 23 are bent into an S-shape, in a direction such that the upper surfaces of components 32 and 34 match the surface opposing to the component-mounting surface of a component-mounting portion 13.
