PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article suppressing the attachment of feces to the skin of a wearer by restricting the float of a mesh structure body from a chassis. SOLUTION: A diaper 1 includes: the liquid-absorbing chassis 2; the mesh structure body 3; a cover sheet 4; and leak barrier cuffs 5. The mesh structure body 3 is laminated on the body side of the chassis 2 via a liquid-absorbing sheet 8, the cover sheet 4 is laminated on the body side of the mesh structure body 3, and the leak barrier cuffs 5 are laminated at both sides on the body side of the cover sheet 4. In the cover sheet 4, the outer side edges 30a of both side sheets 30 are joined with the body sides of the chassis 2 and the inner side edges 30b of both side sheets 30 are joined with the body sides of the mesh structure body 3 over the side edges.
