PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage bag having a distortion-resistant finger hook portion for carrying the bag. SOLUTION: The merchandise storage bag 10 includes: a bag body 20 capable of storing target merchandises 8 having an orifice 14 in its upper part; a lid section 30 that extends from the rear face side of the bag body 20; a lid section reinforcing sheet 32 integrally made part of the lid section 30; and a bag body's front face reinforcing sheet 50 integrally installed on the front face side of the bag body 20. A bag body side cut section 52 that also serves as a receiver for fingers is provided on the bag body's front face reinforcing sheet 50, while at the leading edge of the lid section reinforcing sheet 32, a locking section 34 capable of being engaged with the bag body side cut section 52 is provided, thus making it possible to put fingers into the bag body side cut section 52 with the locking section 34 being engaged with the bag body side cut section 52.
