PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine room for construction equipment suppressing the emission of noise generated in the engine room to the outside to the minimum, and improving cooling performance. SOLUTION: The engine room for construction equipment comprising an engine 13 and a hydraulic pump 18 connected to the engine includes a radiator 23, a muffler 25, a first noise trap 30 installed in an inlet port to absorb and reduce the noise emitted to the outside so as to be sealed, a second noise trap 31 installed in an outlet port to absorb and reduce the noise emitted to the outside so as to be sealed, a radiator fan 17 sucking external air through the first noise trap and making the sucked external air pass through the radiator and the circumference of the engine, a discharge fan 32 discharging air in the engine room to the outside through the second noise trap, and an outer wall 27 forming an airtight space for accommodating therein the engine, the muffler, the radiator fan, the hydraulic pump and the discharge fan that generate the noise at driving.
