PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device which suppresses reduction in luminous efficiency, while enhancing color purity by the introduction of an optical resonator structure. SOLUTION: The organic EL device includes an organic EL layer 110b, formed in between a reflecting electrode 12 and a light-transmissive electrode 111, and the organic EL layer 110b is configured to emit light rays of a plurality of colors and emit one luminescent color by each pixel; a semipermeable reflection layer 126 for selectively transmitting or reflecting light from the organic EL layer 110b is formed, to sandwich the organic EL layer 110b between the layer 126 and the reflecting electrode 12; and the reflection factor of the semipermeable reflecting layer 126 in each pixel is different for each pixel of different luminescent color.
