<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal foil sheet for printing, which enables direct printing on the surface of the metal foil without a processing for printing provided thereon and also makes a strong bonding with inks. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A metal foil 3 in which pinholes 4 are made scatteringly is placed on a substrate sheet 1 through a hot-melt type adhesive layer 2. By thermocompression bonding, the hot melt type adhesive 2 filled in the pinholes 4 of the metal foil 3 is caused to reach up to the surface of the metal foil and exude on the metal foil surface thus to form the bonding with the substrate sheet 1.
