<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and partially improve the gas permeability of an absorptive article while preventing the leakage of excrement from the absorptive article. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The main body unit of the absorptive article has an absorptive core of liquid-absorbing nature as well as a top sheet for covering both principal planes of the absorptive core and a back sheet 23c, the back sheet 23c has a rear part 231 opposite to the buttocks of a wearing person and a front part 232 opposite to the abdominal region. A low water-pressure resistant part 235 having a lower water-pressure resistant value than that of the rear part 231 is provided in the front part 232 and the width of the low water-pressure resistant part 235 is smaller than that of the front part 232. The rear part 231 is formed with a waterproofing film which has gas permeability, and the low water-pressure resistant part 235 is formed with a water-repellent nonwoven fabric. Thus, by altering, for each part, the water-pressure resistant value of the back sheet 23c according to water-pressure resistant capability needed, the gas permeability of the absorptive article can be appropriately and partially improved while preventing the leakage of the excrement from the absorptive article.
