<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment, a program and a recording medium which can save the time and effort of an power supply control by user and improve a user's convenience furthermore by performing the suitable power-supply control according to the connection state of two or more communication means in the electronic equipment equipped with two or more means for communicating with an external device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is equipped with: the first communication means capable of connecting with the external device by the concern of 1 to 1; the second communication means capable of making a network connection for performing a data communication with the external device; the first detection means for detecting the connection state of this first communication means; the second detection means for detecting the connection state of this second communication means; and a power-supply control means for controlling the ON/OFF of the power supply of each part of the device. If the power supply of the device is made to be ON (S11), the first detection means performs the determination on the connection of the first communication means. If the connection of the first communication means with the external device is detected (S12), the power-supply control means maintains the power-supply close state (C3), as long as the connection of either of the first connection means and the second connection means at least is detected.
