<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible writing implement that is freely deformed into a shape so as to snugly fit in a user's hand, by imparting flexibility to part of a shaft cylinder, and emits an operating sound when deformed, thereby imparting an operating feeling and fun. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The flexible writing implement is deformed so as to be easily griped by a user when at least part of a shaft cylinder is bent in the direction of its diameter. This writing implement has an operating sound emission mechanism that emits an operating sound when a user deforms a flexible portion. As an operating sound emission mechanism, suction of suckers, attraction of magnetic bodies, fitting of fitting member, the separation thereof, or the like is adopted.
