<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible printed board which can transmit a high-frequency signal without causing loss and enables three-dimensional arrangement of electronic components, and to provide an optical transmission/reception module. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The flexible printed wiring board has a structure in which a woven fabric made of an insulative material having ≥10 GPa Young's modulus and ≤1×10<SP>-5</SP>linear expansion coefficient is used as a core material, and a base material made of an insulative high polymer material having ≤4 relative dielectric constant and ≤0.005 dielectric dissipation factor is laminated on both surfaces of the woven fabric.
