SOLID ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The objective is to provide a solid electrolytic capacitor having reduced leakage current, and a manufacturing method thereof. The solid electrolytic capacitor is equipped with a capacitor element that comprises an anode (3) made of a sintered metal particle material, an anode lead (2) provided such that one end is embedded in the anode (3), a dielectric layer (4) formed on the surface of the anode (3), an electrolyte layer (5) formed on the dielectric layer (4), and a cathode layer (6) formed on the electrolyte layer (5) such that there is an exposed face (50) of the electrolyte layer (5) around the periphery of the anode lead (2). An anode terminal (1) connected electrically to the other end of the anode lead (2), and a cathode terminal (7) connected electrically to the cathode layer (6) are attached to the capacitor element. Furthermore, a first resin portion (10) is provided extending from the exposed face (50) of the electrolyte layer (5) to the anode terminal (1) such that it covers the anode lead (2), and a second resin portion (8) is provided to cover at least the aforementioned capacitor element and the first resin portion (10).
