The system has a patient monitor (2) e.g. personal computer monitor, by which optical stimulation is presented. A retina implant carrier (8) reports vision impression to the system using a tactile input unit (4) or a microphone (6). An electro acoustic converter (5) i.e. loud speaker, provides additional information over presented image information. The system projects complex three-dimensional images and simple patterns e.g. bars or points. A learning paradigm is defined in a computer program, which provides corresponding learning process using natural stimulation.
