<p>PURPOSE: A hierarchical transmission system and a method for a variable quality service on a cellular system are provided to hierarchically transmit packet information using an available scheme and resource between a terminal and a base station, thereby supporting various the quality of services in a cellular system. CONSTITUTION: A method for a variable quality service on a cellular system comprises the steps of: generating packet information(S801); generating plural hierarchy packets by hierarchically coding the packet information according to a control parameter(S802); generating the kinds of hierarchy packet information by applying an MIMO technique to the plural hierarchy packets; including plural antennas; and transmitting the hierarchy packet information to each antenna(S804).</p> |
