<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document editing device for a tape printer, capable of improving operability in selection of a print format, and to provide a taper printer. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: a form selection means for selecting a print form related to the layout of input information for creating a tape label L from a plurality of form choices; a format selection means for selecting a print format for changing the form of the input information from a plurality of format choices; a RAM 52 which stores the plurality of format choices for each of the plurality of form choices in the descending order of use frequency in the plurality of form choices; and a display 5 which displays the input information, the plurality of form choices and the plurality of format choices read from the RAM 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
