<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel that has a superior response in discharge generation for voltage application with a discharge lagging time shortened, and suppresses a change in the discharge lagging time for temperature. <P>SOLUTION: In the plasma display panel provided with a dielectric layer 9 formed so as to cover a scanning electrode 5 and a sustaining electrode 6 which are formed on a front substrate 4, and a protective layer 10 formed to cover the dielectric layer 9, the protective layer 10 includes silicon nitride, and is structured of magnesium oxide with concentration range of the silicon nitride from 20 weight ppm to 7500 weight ppm. With this arrangement, the plasma display panel capable of displaying excellent images irrespective of environmental temperature, can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
