CONTENT REPRODUCING APPARATUS, CONTENT REPRODUCING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce streaming content without keeping a user waiting when terminal storage content which is stored in local environment and the streaming content to be distributed from a distribution server as streaming data are continuously reproduced.

SOLUTION: A cell-phone unit 1 includes a content reproduction part 30 which continuously reproduces the terminal storage content which is stored in the local environment and the streaming content, and a streaming data look-ahead part 34 which precedingly obtains streaming content to be reproduced next from a streaming content distribution server 52 to buffer it during reproduction of the terminal storage content. The content reproduction part 30 reproduces the already buffered streaming content after reproduction of the stored content is terminated.
