<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which is arranged to achieve higher energy saving, and to provide an electric power control system. <P>SOLUTION: When a controller in power saving mode receives a print request through a communication interface 108, a system control section 110 requests warm-up of an engine controller 201 through an engine interface 109, and the engine controller 201 warms up a fixing device by using a first heater. Furthermore, the system control section 110 turns the controller on by connecting a controller relay apparatus 113 and starting power supply to a second power supply section 112, and when the controller processes the print request, the controller is brought into power saving state.
