摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device employing an N+1 redundant configuration and a 1+1 redundant configuration comprised of the same function section which can continuously provide services even if components of the function section in the N+1 redundant configuration fail, and also to provide a system switching method. <P>SOLUTION: When a controller 100 detects the occurrence of a failure in a TDM processing section 150, it switches a PSTN line 170 to a standby system and a PSTN line 171 to an act system, and thereafter, switches a media gateway 110 to a standby system and a media gateway 112 to an actual use system. The controller also controls a selector 161 to switch a line from a selector 165 to the actual use system, controls the selector 165 to switch a line from the selector 161 to the actual use system, and controls a VoIP processing section 142 to switch a line from a TDM processing section 155 to the actual use system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
