<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in composition with the maximum ratio in a digital signal processing apparatus, even if a receiving signal level is sharply deteriorated in any of the system #1 and system #2 in receiving diveresity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An upper limit is provided to a signal level difference or a gain adjusting value. Otherwise, an upper limit may be provided only under the condition that an SN ratio based on the result of composition is equal to or lower than the predetermined level.
