<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an organic EL element allowing luminescence intensity of an organic luminescent layer to be uniformed even when the organic luminescent layer is formed by a droplet discharge method; an electrooptical device; and an electronic apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this organic EL element, a first electrode 12 is provided with a cathode layer 122 and an electron injection layer 121 formed between the cathode layer 122 and a functional layer 10; and the electron injection layer 121 is formed such that injectability of electrons from the cathode layer 122 is set higher in a region B where the luminescence intensity of the organic luminescent layer 8 is lowest than a region A where the luminescence intensity of the organic luminescent layer 8 is highest.
