<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase efficiency and safety of work for supplying of a lubricating oil to guide shoes provided in a cage of an elevator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The elevator includes the cage 1 vertically moving along a guide rail 3 with an apron 4 at a lower part, the guide shoes 11, 12, 13, 14 attached to the cage 1 and travelling on the guide rail 3, a lubricating oil supplying section 18 attached to the guide shoes 11, 12, 13, 14 and supplying the lubricating oil between the guide rail 3 and the guide shoes 11, 12, 13, 14, and lubricating oil resupplying piping 21, 22 with oil supply ports 15, 16 arranged in front of the apron 4, which are formed to resupply the lubricating oil to the lubricating oil supplying section 18 along the side surface of the cage 1 from oil supply ports 15, 16.
