<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial controller for preventing any application error from being caused even when a program is executed before connection is established. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This industrial controller is provided with: an arithmetic part for performing the arithmetic operation of a user program including a function block FB; and a status flag storage part for storing attribute information of the validity/invalidity of a signal included in the user program. An arithmetic part is provided with a function for, in computing the FB, executing the arithmetic operation of the FB under such conditions that the attribute information of all input signals is valid, and for validating the attribute information on an output signal as an arithmetic result, and for, if any invalid input signal exist, not executing the arithmetic operation of the FB.
