<p>The present invention aims to improve characteristics of a lead acid storage battery, particularly to improve short-time discharge output after a thermal cycle. Disclosed is an electrode for lead acid storage batteries, which is composed of an electrode active material layer containing a lead-containing material, a porous carbonaceous material and a binder, and a collector. When the mass of lead atoms contained in the electrode active material layer is represented by A, and the mass of the porous carbonaceous material is represented by B, B/(A + B) × 100 is 1.0-90%. The binder is composed of a crystalline polymer or amorphous polymer having a melting point of not more than 40°C.</p> |
