The device (1) has a horizontally aligned crossbar (10) for hanging a game animal, where the crossbar is arranged at an upper end of a frame (2) clamped in a laminar plane. A clamping device (3) is arranged at a lower end of the frame, and effectively connects the frame with a ball head of a tow coupling (4) of a vehicle (5) in a vertical direction. The frame has profile bars (6, 7), which are movably held relative to each other and run at a preset angle to each other. Clamping jaws are arranged at lower ends of the bars. The frame and the clamping device are made of stainless steel.
