PURPOSE: An oxynitride phosphor, a method for manufacturing the same, and a light-emitting device are provided to ensure luminous efficiency by comprising oxynitride crystals with a specific composition. CONSTITUTION: An oxynitride phosphor includes crystals represented by formula 1: (Ba1-pMp)aSibOcNd : eR, wherein M is Sr, R is an activator including Eu as an essential component, 0 < p < 1.0, 1.0 <= a <= 2.0, 0 < b <= 1.0, 0 < c <= 1.0, 0 < d <= 2.0, and 0 < e <= 0.25. A method for manufacturing the oxynitride phosphor comprises the steps of: mixing raw materials including an activator precursor, wherein the activator precursor includes a precursor of Ba, a precursor of M, a precursor of Si and at least precursor of Eu; and injecting the raw materials into a furnace and calcining them.
