<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet image-forming method and an inkjet recording apparatus which satisfies all of problems required to high-quality recording in plain paper in recent years sufficiently at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet image-forming method, an image is formed by applying an ink of a fixed amount of 0.5 pl-6.0 pl to plain paper, wherein the ink comprises: a self-dispersion pigment; water; a water-soluble substance having 0.37 or more of a coefficient of hydrophilicity-hydrophobicity as defined by the equation (A): coefficient of hydrophilicity-hydrophobicity = ä(water active value of 20% aqueous solution)-(molar fraction of water of 20% aqueous solution)}/ä1-(molar fraction of water of 20% aqueous solution)}; and a water-soluble substance having the coefficient of hydrophilicity-hydrophobicity as defined by the equation (A) of 0.25 or less, and the application of the ink is divided into a plurality of division times and the ink applied amount of each divided time is made to be 0.7 μl/cm<SP>2</SP>or less when forming the image which has at least 80% duty and has a part of total ink applied amount of 5.0 μl/cm<SP>2</SP>or less in a basic matrix for forming the image by using the inkjet recording ink whose surface tension is 34 mN/m or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
