PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, in a conventional electronic timepiece with a solar cell, the solar cell is bent and stuck along a facing part of a dial plate, a crack is generated in the solar cell due to the bending distortion and, as a result, photoelectromotive force of the solar cell can not be provided.
SOLUTION: This solar cell is composed by sequentially stacking a lower electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer, an upper electrode and a protective film from a front surface of a strip-like resin substrate having short sides and long sides; and structured such that photoelectromotive force generated in the photoelectric conversion layer can be extracted from first and second extraction electrodes electrically connected to the lower electrode and the upper electrode, respectively, through through-holes formed on the protective film. The through-hole formed on the protective film is formed so that the width in the lateral direction in the vicinity of an opening end of the through-hole is expanded toward the center of the through-hole.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
