<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein an AC adapter which requires large power and being large in size is needs to be adopted, in order to satisfy conditions that are normally used so often. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic equipment system having an AC adapter 21 that converts an AC input into a DC output, and electronic equipment that receives the DC output outputted from the AC adapter, the AC adapter includes: a temperature detecting element that detects the temperature of the AC adapter; and a first control part that changes the DC output of the AC adapter, based on the output change of the temperature detection element, the electronic equipment includes: a detection part 24 that detects the change in the DC output voltage value of the AC adapter; and a second control parts 26, 28 that perform power control, based on the detected change of the output voltage value.
