<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a pen point position and posture information with high accuracy by sequentially estimating the amount of fluctuation in parameters such as an offset component and sensitivity and using the estimated parameters to perform inertial navigation calculation even when an output of an inertial sensor changes with time due to the fluctuation in the parameters. <P>SOLUTION: When a pen point 2 is grounded to a writing target medium at a parameter fluctuation amount estimating part 9 if it is determined that the pen point 2 is grounded to the writing target medium, a parameter fluctuation amount in an acceleration sensor 3 and a gyroscope sensor 4 is estimated on the basis of information from a pen point movement detecting part 8 for calculating pen point speed during drawing and calculating a pen point position, and a handwriting calculating part 6 corrects, on the basis of the estimated parameter fluctuation amount, a writing trace calculated on the basis of information obtained by the acceleration sensor 3 and the gyroscope 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
