<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial-and-antifungal composition high in both antibacterial and antifungal performances, excellent in quick efficacy as well, and also high in safety in its handling, and applicable to spray preparations, cleansers, etc. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The antibacterial-and-antifungal composition is in the form of a solution having antibacterial and antifungal activities, in which calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide and a citrus-derived ingredient is used; wherein, as the citrus-derived ingredient, grapefruit seed extract, limonene or the like may be used.
