PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side gusset bag which has a good body gripping property and is excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: The side gusset bag 10 comprises a pair of front and back faces 14, 15 composed of a resin film having a sealant layer on the inner face and a pair of side faces 16 folded toward the inside of the bag and composed of a resin film having a sealant layer on the inner face and has at least one joint sealing part 17 where resin films composing the bag are jointed by jointing the inner faces of the edge part of the front face 14 or the back face 15 and the edge part of the side faces 16 along the vertical direction of the bag, and an extending part 19 extended from the joint sealing part 17 is provided at the edge part of the front face 14 or the back face 15, and the extending part 19 is folded toward the inside of the bag and has a folded sealing part 11 that the inner faces opposed by folding are jointed to each other.
