<p>The invention relates to a nucleic acid sequence derived from Nicotiana megalosiphon which codes for an antipathogenic protein. The invention also relates to the use of this nucleic acid molecule in obtaining transgenic plants of agricultural interest, which display resistance to pathogens. The invention further relates to a bioproduct containing this antipathogenic protein for controlling pathogens of plants.</p>
