PURPOSE: A shape measuring apparatus of an eyeglasses frame is provided to measure the lens frame shape of the eyeglass frame precisely even in case the shape of the frame is changed in the different direction with expectation. CONSTITUTION: A shape measuring apparatus of an eyeglasses frame comprises a ruler for a lens frame, a drive motor, and a lens frame shape measurement calculation control unit. The ruler(37) for the lens frame measures the radius vector direction of the lens frame. The drive motor applies fixed pressure on the ruler for the lens frame. The lens frame shape measurement calculation control unit divides the whole perimeter of the lens frame shape into a plurality of measuring points. The lens frame shape measurement calculation control unit acquires frame shape size measured in each measuring point as frame-shape information.
