The invention relates to a thermal sleeve that is preferably and essentially intended to keep the liquid in a bottle (7), such as a wine bottle, cold during the time the bottle contents are being consumed. The sleeve consists of a body having chambers or compartments (1) joined by thermosolder lines (3) for a cooling liquid (2), along with an external means of fitting and fastening the sleeve on the bottle (7), said means consisting, for example, of a sheet (4) of flexible and semi-rigid material located on the outer side of the sleeve body, shaped to the lateral surface of the body of the bottle (7), one end (5) of the laminate body (4) being superimposed on the opposite end of said laminate body (4). The sleeve can be used to handle the sleeve/bottle ensemble in order to pour out the bottle contents without the hand slipping off the sleeve, nor the sleeve slipping off the bottle. |
