摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generator which can be operated in a wide temperature range. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a hydrogen generator comprising: a first ammonia conversion part 10 having a hydrogen generation substance reacted with ammonia in a first temperature range, so as to generate hydrogen; a second ammonia conversion part 20 having an ammonia decomposition catalyst decomposing ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen in a second temperature range; an ammonia feed part 30 feeding ammonia; and an ammonia feed flow passage 31 feeding ammonia from the ammonia feed part to the first and second ammonia conversion parts. The first temperature range includes temperature lower than the second temperature range, and hydrogen is generated from ammonia by changingly using the first and second ammonia conversion parts.
