<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure operation performance while restraining deterioration of a catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system including an electrolyte membrane, an anode electrode, a cathode electrode, a separator for supplying a reaction gas to each electrode, a reaction gas supply mechanism for supplying the reaction gas to the separator, an electric load detachably arranged on a current conduction path for electrically conducting between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode, and a power source detachably arranged on the current conduction path and applying positive electrical potential to the cathode electrode and negative electrical potential to the anode electrode, the fuel cell system also includes a hydrogen generation means (S2) for consuming oxygen at a cathode electrode side by connecting the electrical load after stopping supply of a cathode gas, and then generating hydrogen on the cathode electrode, and a moisture moving means (S3) for consuming the hydrogen generated on the cathode electrode by connecting the power source after generating the hydrogen on the cathode electrode and moving moisture in the cathode electrode to the anode electrode via the electrolyte membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
