<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of band overflow of a network by a configuration on the reception side only. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided an IP broadcast communication means 204 for receiving an IP broadcast distributed using a multicast address, a recording/reproducing means 206 for recording or reproducing a predetermined content stored in a storage means 207, a control means 203 for terminating the receiving operation of the IP broadcast communication means 204 when any of the recording operation, the reproducing operation, and a preliminary operation for those operations of a content by the recording/reproducing means 206 is started while the IP broadcast communication means 204 is receiving an IP broadcast, and for controlling the IP broadcast communication means 204 not to receive the IP broadcast when any of the recording operation, the reproducing operation, and the preliminary operation ends, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
