<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode element in which a light-emitting diode is sealed with glass without using sol-gel method. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes glass 7 for sealing the light-emitting diode 1 containing, in mole percentage, 20 to 70% of TeO<SB>2</SB>, 5 to 30% of ZnO, 0 to 55% of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0 to 10% of SiO<SB>2</SB>+GeO<SB>2</SB>, 0 to 30% of Li<SB>2</SB>O+Na<SB>2</SB>O+K<SB>2</SB>O, 0 to 20% of MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO, and 0 to 7% of other components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
