<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an intervention member for optical fiber cable for preventing the generation of dust of a resin material when manufacturing the optical fiber cable and reducing resistance caused when the intervention member passes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the resin-made intervention member used for the optical fiber cable storing and protecting an optical fiber core wire, the melted resin forming the intervention member is made to remain before extruding it from a die. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the generation of dust of the resin material when manufacturing the optical fiber cable to manufacture the intervention member having little resistance when passing through a nipple mouthpiece or the like.
