<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intervertebral insert can be set between spinous processes by removing necessary interspinal ligaments only without removing additional interspinal ligaments. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The intervertebral insert includes an upper body 61 having a first notch, a lower body 62 having a second notch facing the first notch, a housing cylinder 63 disposed on the lower surface of the upper body 61, and an insert member 64 disposed on the upper surface of the lower body 62. A part of the insert member 64 is inserted into the housing cylinder 63, and the insert member 64 has such inclination that a first angle 66a formed on the insertion front face side is different from a second angle 66b formed on the insertion back face side.
